Welcome back to those who have not visited for a while and to my regular followers.
This post is one I have been looking forward to, as I got use Graphic 45's
new calendar collection Children's Hour and combine it with six different
Scrapmatts chipboard packs .
Children hour has fabulous images for every month of the year. So for this project
I decided to make a constructed project that had four sides so I could
embellish each side with a different season. The concept of a coin bank for saving seemed to me to match with the seasons as saving for special holidays or events goes with every time off year.
These first couple of photos give a good overview of the project and show the overall
impact of the collection.
I used chipboard for my construction an tried something different and painted the edges before I cover the sides with paper with a bold red.
Each side as I mentioned was embellished with a different season in mind.
For each season I included some great Scrapmatts chip board
as part of my embellishments as well fussy cut images from the collection.
The Scrapmatts packs I used for this project were :
Picket Fences 08
Arch Window Frames 04
Hexagon Mesh 02
Circle Mesh 02
Grass 02
Grass 01
Go over to the online store to get your chipboard from the huge selection available.
The Chipboard was heat embossed and inked. I tried to pick elements that match well with
the paper collection. I especially love the Arch window Frames.
The following pictures are the four seasons. My personal favourite is the summer side.

Thank you for stopping by and I have loved sharing this project with every one.
I have more new projects coming up soon. I am busily trying to get a couple of you tube
tutorials made, my computer skills are slow but please be patient and stay tuned, I hope it won't be to much longer.
In the mean time Happy paper crafting
