Christmas Envelope Photo Folder

To complete a trio of Graphic 45 Twelve days of christmas projects here is photo folder to store
some christmas memories.
I think this collection from graphic 45 is my favourite christmas collection.
Here are a few techniques in this project that may be with trying out.

Firstly try making you folder from chipboard then you can make it any size you want

Use Core'dinations graphic 45 signature series card stock colours as they match perfectly to
any of the graphic 45 collections.

Try using a buckle closure for your folder in conjunction with inked grunge paper.

The stickers and chipboard packs matching the graphic 45 collections make the ideal way to have perfectly coordinated embellishments for your project.

and finally try using different coloured envelopes to create a different look

I hope these ideas will help I've inspiration to your next project

this projects as well. If you have not seen my crackers then please have a look at the previous post.

This was a project I made for the Graphic 45 Design Team. It was featured on there blog.

The tin I used for this project was the graphic 45 film canister

I used fussy cut images and diemond dies coupled with paper flowers to
embellish the front.

There is a simple mini album on the front to hold christmas snap shots or journalling.

12 Days of Christmas Crackers

Graphic 45 twelve days of christmas paper collection is one of my top
favorites from the graphic 45 range. I love the colours and could not resist using it with my latest twinery design team project.

I decided that christmas crackers would be fun project to make.

As you can see there are great papers that coordinate so well and the green twine
I have used is almost a perfect match.
I used the twine to create a cross hatched effect for some back ground texture.
The colour I used on the box was

This photo is a front view of the cracker box. I made some rosettes from the paper and incorporated petaloo poinsettias and mulberry roses. the two birds are fussy cut
from the paper collection.

The box I altered is graphic 45 8 x 8 match book box. It has a slide drawer which
holds the crackers.

The crackers were made using the we r memory keepers candy box punch board. Then paper mats were made to decorate the outside.
The cracker labels are coordinated stickers mounted on card stock.

The ends of the crackers were fastened using more twinery bakers twine
in the following colours

This was a fun project to create. Making your own crackers adds a personal touch to
christmas. They could be used as a gift or an addition to any christmas table.
Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment if you would like.

It has been a little while since I have posted and its catch up time. I am
about to move interstate so it has been a busy time plus there have been a few personal things, but now to share what I have made lately.

My scrap frames were an idea I had to decorate my craft room with a splash of graphic 45.
I had three blank frames in my stash and painted them up to match these
great graphic 45 collections

Raining cats and dogs
Time to celebrate
Twas the night before christmas

I love the colours of this first frame and it has a lot applications.
There are fabulous images and I have another project that I will be sharing using this
collection : raining cats and dogs.

Time to celebrate is the 45th collection from graphic 45 and it has a wonderful colour
palette and theme. The large section of this frame gave me a great
opportunity to fussy lots of images from the collection.

The final frame is a christmas theme and uses Graphic 45 twas the night before
christmas collection.

Please check out my projects on pinterest as well the link to my board is

Christmas Greetings with Scrapmatts

Sending christmas greetings to friends and family is part of the festive season
celebrations for many people.
Handmade cards have a special feel to them and you can make unique cards for each
person or create designs that are easy to replicate. What ever your design choices are, scrapmatts chip board designs are a wonderful addition to your cards each year.

This time round my blog post features four hand made cards using ten different
scrapmatts chipboard packs.
I have given each one a postage stamp edge and lots of layering.

All the chipboard has been heat embossed ( my favourite technique ).

This first card features the following chip board packs :

Ornate Frames 19 CB6091
Assorted Words 19 CB6097

The second card uses these scrapmatts packs :

Scrap Words 15 CB1213
Stars 03 CB 1223
Leaf Spray 01 CB1146
Christmas Ornaments 12 CB5104

Card number three incorporates :

Scrap Words 15 CB1213
Holy 03 CB1224

And finally the fourth card has the following chip board packs :

Scrap Words 15 CB1213
Pine Sprig 01 CB1225
Floral Spray 01 CB1097
Ornate Frame 20 CB6092

As the christmas season fast approaches I hope you are busy creating your handmade
cards. I hope you can find inspiration from my card designs.

Graphic 45 Gift Giving

Giving is a perfect way to show some body you care. Gifts comes in all shapes and sizes.

As part of our graphic 45 design team assignments we were asked to make a gift
bag and coordinating card.
I took my love of boxes and created to versions of my gift box bag.

The first was made with the come away with me collection and the second I
used time to celebrate.

There is also a video tutorial so you learn how to make them.

I hope you will give them a try using your favourite collection

Graphic 45 meets VHS

I have few catch up posts to do so stay tuned.
The first is my Graphic 45 Steam punk spells Video box mini album.
I loved making this project.
Every one out there must have videos lying around that you may have replaced with DVDs
or digital movies. I thought what a great way to make a mini album.

There are a multitude of ways you could alter these boxes. But I have to say the
range of graphic 45 collections make this project fun and easy to embellish.
The front I decided to add a chip board window box style extension
to create more depth and layering.

The inside was covered with paper and the pages were created using the graphic 45
large tag staples in black.

The next few photos are to show other aspects of the album.
I love the images in steampunk spells and the cover was the perfect way to use them.

The pages them selves have plenty of tags and photo mounts to display images
or special journalling.

I hope to do a tutorial for these video box albums soon using a different
collection and binding style
Thanks for stopping by and I would love to hear your feed back.

Happy paper crafting

Andrew
